I drink thirstily.
My body, used to being deserted
Doesn’t know what to do with this rainfall.
Like rain in the desert…
Would a desert be a desert if it rained constantly?
No, it would evolve.
Plants would grow, new flowers would bloom
Insects would come
Pools and eddies would form,
where frogs croak, and fish play.
A Garden of Eden.
My body too, grows wondrous and abundant
With such moist blessings.
No need to do a rain dance....
It runs freely in my veins,
The Water of Life.
